Friends of the Library
For 40 years the Terrell "Friends of the Library" has served the Riter Hulsey City Library with financial support and volunteer manpower for events like youth reading and summer programming. The "Friends" remain committed in support of the mission of the library which includes literacy and community development.
NWSF
The National Wheelchair Sports Fund was founded in 1986 with the primary purpose of raising funds to finance wheelchair athletes and wheelchair athletic programs.
Wheels for Humanity
The goal of Wheels For Humanity is to recycle wheelchairs, then deliver and personally fit them at no cost to children and adults in developing countries.
Turning Point
The mission of Turning Point is to develop the self-esteem and confidence in the physically challenged through participation in adapted outdoor adventures.
ITF-Silver Fund
The Silver fund introduces wheelchair tennis projects in underdeveloped countries to improve the quality of life of men, women and children with a disability by allowing them to gain in confidence and by helping them to integrate back into their community.
Blaze Sports Clubs of America
A quick look at any community across the United States will find multiple year round programs of sports training and competition for all ages and interests of non-disabled youth. What has been absent is a national program that delivers quality sports opportunities for persons with physical disability.
